Senior UX Designer, Google Cloud Business Platform

Role

Senior UX Designer on Google Cloud Business Platform focused on leading design strategy and defining UX direction for the Transact Platform. You will craft enterprise transact experiences end-to-end using user-centered design methods, prototypes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy for the Transact Platform and influence user journeys.
• Define and drive UX direction for enterprise transact experiences to ensure seamless interactions.
• Use research and data to inform and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate the user experience at various stages with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, Vibe Coding, or prototypes.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading design strategy, defining UX direction, and working in fluid environments with cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing for enterprise business problems.
• Excellent interaction design skills and knowledge of user-centered design methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for designs.
• Ability to use AI tools to create prototypes (e.g., Vibe Coding).

Location and Compensation

• Preferred working location options: Kirkland, WA, USA; Sunnyvale, CA, USA.
• US base salary range (full-time): $151,000 - $222,000 (base salary only; additional bonus, equity, and benefits apply).
