Senior UX Strategist / Service Designer (f/m/d)

Role

We are hiring a Senior UX Strategist / Service Designer to work at the intersection of strategy, service and user-centred UX design in an AI-driven context. The role combines systems thinking, user research, prototyping, facilitation and stakeholder management to deliver practical, well-tested solutions and AI-enabled experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects end-to-end from problem definition to delivered solutions
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, research and customer teams to embed UX across the development process and customer journey
• Plan and conduct user interviews to surface actionable insights
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with customers and stakeholders
• Analyze complex problem spaces and reveal patterns to inform design direction
• Create simple, actionable concepts and prototypes (low-fidelity to proof-of-concept)
• Translate complex AI functionality into transparent, intuitive interactions
• Build and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships and deliver persuasive presentations
• Design AI-powered solutions and internal AI tools for clients and internal use
• Leverage vibe Coding and generative AI tools to prototype and test ideas quickly
• Visit clients on-site frequently for co-creation sessions and workshops

Requirements

• Several years of experience in UX, service design, and strategic design processes
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to ask deep, clarifying questions
• Confident facilitation skills for workshops and strategic client meetings
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across levels
• Proficiency in prototyping across fidelity levels and experience integrating AI tools into design workflows
• Ability to switch between big-picture strategy and detailed execution
• Native-level German and business-fluent English
• Comfortable working in dynamic, international, cross-functional teams and under pressure
