Role
Senior Web Ops and AI Digital Manager responsible for leading web operations and digital initiatives for ophthalmology brands. The role focuses on optimizing brand websites, accelerating content production with Generative AI, improving SEO/GEO performance, and ensuring digital experiences meet regulatory, privacy, accessibility, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Web Operations and Digital Production
- Oversee daily operation and ongoing optimization of brand websites, including content updates, UX enhancements, personalization, and technical maintenance.
- Lead SEO/GEO strategy and implementation to improve on-page content architecture, metadata, and internal/external linking.
- Partner with brand teams to develop new digital offerings and support platform updates, feature releases, and performance improvements.
- Support AI content producers by authoring, updating, and optimizing content using content-authoring platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, privacy, accessibility, and security standards.
Digital Execution and Project Management
- Serve as primary digital partner to brand marketing teams, translating brand objectives into actionable website and digital initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end project workflows and coordinate with AI content producers, media, IT/WebDev, Veeva, and external agencies.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, scopes, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
- Coordinate materials through medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR/PRC) review processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, web operations, digital brand management, or agency environment supporting multichannel/omnichannel initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with website management, technical and structured content updates, and foundational SEO/GEO optimization practices.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional partners including brand marketing, media, analytics, IT, and external agencies.
Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare marketing and familiarity with MLR/PRC review processes.
- Demonstrated ability applying Generative AI within web operations and creative production/automation; experience with vibe-coding is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams across internal teams, vendors, IT/WebDev, creative partners, and MLR reviewers.
Tools & Platforms
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Drupal, or WordPress.
- Familiarity with Veeva Vault, Veeva CLM, and Veeva PromoMats.
- Experience with content-authoring platforms and responsive design practices.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Hybrid schedule: up to 2 days/week telecommuting and 3 days/week in Bridgewater, NJ corporate office.
Compensation & Benefits
- U.S. starting pay range listed: $160,000 to $190,000 (actual offer may vary).
