Software Developer – Vibe Coder (in-office)
Join Meadowbrook Services’ Kent, Ohio office to develop and maintain web, mobile, and SaaS applications and contribute to AI-assisted software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web, SaaS, and mobile applications.
- Write and debug code primarily using VS Code.
- Implement backend logic, automation, and app development with Python.
- Use GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Create and edit graphics, layouts, and visuals with Photoshop.
- Employ AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude) and assist in building AI systems, including RAG systems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and improve existing codebases.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate experience with Python.
- Experience building applications (projects count as experience).
- Comfortable using VS Code and GitHub.
- Photoshop experience is required.
- Understanding of RAG systems: documents, databases, embeddings, search, and AI-generated responses.
- Reliable and able to work in-office in Kent, Ohio.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with mobile app or SaaS development.
- Experience with large language models or AI system development.
- Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, chatbots, or AI knowledge-base applications.
- Familiarity with APIs, Docker, Claude, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar tools.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, weekends off.
- Starting pay: $20.00 per hour.
