Software Engineer, AI & Product Systems

Role

The Software Engineer, AI & Product Systems will design, build, and operate production-grade systems that power a Compliance Services Organization. You will deliver multi-tenant dashboards, AI scoring pipelines, voice agent integrations, and CRM-connected platforms used by clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production AI pipelines (call scoring via Claude, automated PDF scorecards, coaching email delivery integrated with Gong and Google Sheets).
• Develop multi-tenant client and rep-facing dashboards with real-time Salesforce sync, RBAC, and embedded analytics using Next.js and Supabase.
• Architect and deliver a Lead Management Platform replacing Velocify, including skills-based routing, SLA enforcement, Twilio dialer, and completeness scoring across a 25+ table schema.
• Integrate and maintain AI voice agent infrastructure (Vapi, Bland) with CRM handoff, conversation memory, and live escalation routing.
• Administer and extend Salesforce across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds (custom fields, validation rules, Flows, SOQL analytics).
• Design and maintain internal automation workflows via n8n, webhook-driven pipelines, and API integrations.
• Maintain engineering discipline: write tests for edge cases, manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Vercel, enforce staging vs. production separation, and follow security best practices (RBAC, input sanitization, secret management).

What You Will Build

• AI Scoring Pipelines: audio ingestion from Gong, scored by Claude, results written to Sheets, PDF scorecards, and coaching emails.
• Multi-Tenant Dashboards: Next.js + Supabase platforms with real-time Salesforce sync and RBAC.
• Lead Management Platform: Velocify replacement with Twilio dialer, routing, sequencing, and completeness scoring.
• AI Voice Agents: inbound agents via Vapi/Bland with backend logic, CRM handoff, and escalation routing.
• Sales Performance System: scorecards, intervention dashboards, morning briefs, and SOQL-driven analytics.
• Internal Automation: n8n workflows and webhook/API pipelines to reduce manual work.

Requirements

Required:

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience shipping production applications.
• Daily experience with Node.js, Next.js (14+), and TypeScript.
• Database schema design and query skills with PostgreSQL or Supabase.
• Experience building resilient API integrations (REST, OAuth2, JWT, webhooks).
• At least one shipped production LLM feature using Claude or OpenAI (prompt design, streaming, token management, error handling).
• Real-time systems experience (WebSockets, SSE, or Supabase Realtime).
• Testing and CI/CD discipline (GitHub Actions, Vercel, staging/prod workflows).
• Security awareness: RBAC, input sanitization, secret management, rate limiting, CORS.
• Active use of AI developer tools (Claude Code, Cursor) while being able to debug and explain code without AI.

Nice-to-Have:

• Salesforce API integrations (jsforce, REST, bulk jobs).
• PDF generation (Puppeteer, React-PDF).
• Voice agent platform experience (Vapi, Retell, Bland).
• Multi-tenant SaaS patterns (row-level security, scoped data access).
• RAG pipeline design and embedding strategies.
• Prior B2B experience where shipped software impacted revenue.

• Must be US-based; Naperville, IL onsite preferred.
