Role
Software Engineer II on the Ad Platforms / CRM Analytics team responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and operating features for Disney’s advertising and CRM analytics applications. The role emphasizes Salesforce CRM Analytics expertise, cloud-native architecture, data persistence, and event streaming while working in an Agile, cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software projects on time and contribute domain expertise and innovative solutions to business problems.
- Collaborate on software architecture to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, and cloud-native.
- Design and implement Salesforce CRM Analytics solutions.
- Write, test, and check in clean, well-documented code daily; participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve production issues across UI to persistence layers and work to prevent recurrence.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with business goals and deliver multiple projects using Agile methodology.
- Take ownership of deliverables, mentor teammates, and uphold code quality and development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in web application development or software engineering in a large enterprise environment using Salesforce and CRM Analytics platform.
- Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, NoSQL data stores, and event streaming platforms (Snowflake, Kafka).
- Scripting, DevOps, and data persistence skills; ability to design scalable, secure, performant web applications.
- Strong communication skills and experience mentoring or helping others succeed.
- Comfortable with Agile and lean development principles.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience with vibe coding and AI tools.
- Previous work in Ad Platforms, accounts receivable, or financial applications.
- Experience working with vendor teams.
- Knowledge of AWS managed services, performance testing, and application profiling.
- Experience with Python and Databricks.
Compensation
- Hiring range for New York, NY: 120,300 - 161,300 (numbers as stated in posting).
- Hiring range for Seattle, WA: 120,300 - 161,300 (numbers as stated in posting).
