Software Engineer III (in-house) responsible for turning specifications into working, production-ready features for web and mobile. The role emphasizes fast, reliable shipping, ownership of bugs and fixes, and improving an existing codebase in a high-output, in-person engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement features from specs and ship weekly
- Work across a live production codebase (web and mobile)
- Fix bugs, handle edge cases, and resolve broken logic
- Test your work and take end-to-end responsibility for quality
- Proactively identify and raise issues early
- Improve existing systems and codebase, not just add features
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience shipping production code (explicitly required)
- Proven ability to contribute immediately with minimal direction
- Strong attention to edge cases, testing, and reliability
- Comfortable working inside messy or existing systems and improving them
- Preference against candidates whose experience is limited to tutorials, side projects, or AI-assisted “vibe coding”
- In-person availability in Austin, TX (no remote option)
