Role
As a Solution Architect (Power Platform & D365) you will architect, design and implement Dynamics 365 Customer Service / Case Management solutions and Power Platform capabilities. You’ll lead technical delivery teams, be accountable for the technical solution in engagements, and help clients modernize processes and applications across commercial and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design and implement Dynamics 365 Customer Service / Case Management solutions using out-of-the-box capabilities, configuration and customization
- Lead, enable and mentor team members while being a top individual performer
- Work closely with clients and project teams; own the technical solution and client communications
- Communicate, plan and implement capabilities that deliver customer value
- Utilize AI (LLMs, Copilot, Agents, etc.) to augment development, design and testing best practices
- Implement solutions using hybrid-agile and agile methods
- Create and maintain architectural artefacts (contextual, conceptual, logical, physical)
- Perform code reviews, implement code best practices, set up environments and manage large solution deployments
- Mentor, coach and perform formal performance reviews for team members
- Promote team wellness and professional development
Requirements
- 10+ years implementing CRM or case management solutions in private or public sector
- Minimum 5 years experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform
- 3 years in a technical leadership role (enabling, guiding, mentoring developers in the Dynamics 365 ecosystem)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Copilot, Cowork, vibe coding, Agents or similar AI tooling
- Experience creating architectural artefacts, performing code reviews, and managing large deployments
- Experience with grants management, license management or case management solutions (asset)
- In-depth experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Visual Studio
- Familiarity with Microsoft Contact Center (CCAS) and other Dynamics modules (Field Service, Sales, Customer Insights, Marketing) is an asset
- Deep knowledge of Agile Scrum SDLC, platform integration patterns, APIs and system integration design
- Proven experience designing complex integrations across multiple systems
- Exposure to multiple languages/technology stacks (examples listed: Java, C, C++, C#, Objective C, SQL Server) is an asset
- Ability to travel throughout Canada up to 20%
Technical Environment
Primary technologies and platforms expected in this role include Dynamics 365 (Customer Service), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages), Azure DevOps, GitHub and Visual Studio. The role expects use of AI/LLM-based tooling (Copilot, agents, etc.) to drive team practices.
