Role
A Solution Architect responsible for defining application scope and objectives, supervising technical and functional specifications, and maintaining active relationships with customers to gather and validate business requirements. The role includes leading technology evaluations, proofs-of-concept, and ensuring alignment of enterprise systems with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and review design proposals with business stakeholders.
- Prioritize projects and make trade-offs for enterprise system changes aligned to business goals.
- Lead technology evaluations and participate in proof-of-concept efforts.
- Own the change request process and coordinate cross-team implementation and communication.
- Define application scope and supervise preparation of technical and functional specifications.
- Mentor and drive teams to achieve results; provide hands-on development and troubleshooting support as needed.
- Promote and lead adoption of modern DevOps automation and AI-enabled development practices.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with multi-database and multi-language environments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented design.
- Experience with EKS container platform and public cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Architecture and hands-on development experience with web technologies (JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, CSS, HTML).
- Experience designing large mobile applications using React Native.
- Experience with microservices-based APIs and Service Mesh design/architecture.
- Experience implementing and leading DevOps process automation using tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and tools like JIRA and Agilecraft.
- Experience with test automation tools and practices (qTest, WebDriverIO, LambdaTest).
- Experience implementing instrumentation and monitoring (Splunk, DataDog, Instana).
- Preferred: experience with vibe coding using modern IDEs and AI assistants (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot) and AI-first SDLC/automation.
Location & Compensation
- Role Location: Remote
- Compensation Range: $123,000 - $185,000 per year
