Role
Senior Group Product Manager responsible for driving RTI’s product strategy, mentoring a team of Product Managers, and owning a unified roadmap that aligns product investments with business objectives in real-time data streaming, Physical AI, and autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and raise the bar for a team of Product Managers.
- Create and maintain a single, traceable 6-month roadmap balancing retention and land/expand strategies.
- Act as a player-coach to drive new product concepts using rapid prototyping and “vibe-coding” to validate ideas with stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing, licensing, and packaging strategies.
- Build cross-functional relationships with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and executives to ensure alignment and reduce friction.
- Maintain market intelligence on trends, competition, and emerging technologies in Physical AI and autonomous systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years managing other PMs at Director or Group PM level.
- Deep technical knowledge in middleware, distributed systems, or developer tools, especially in high-consequence domains (Automotive, Robotics, Defense).
- Experience managing mature product lines while leading 0-to-1 innovation or major category shifts.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills.
- Ability to translate technical details into strategic narratives for engineering and executive stakeholders.
- Technical literacy to partner with R&D on problem vs. solution definitions and architecture (no production coding required).
- Coaching and mentorship mindset; experience defining and validating Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).
- Outcome-oriented ownership of product success and long-term platform goals.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense or Automotive markets.
- Familiarity with DDS or similar middleware.
- Background with on-prem infrastructure and cloud-native models.
- Experience with Product-Led Growth (PLG) or hybrid enterprise/PLG environments.
Compensation
- Base salary range stated for Denver, Colorado: 180K - 200K (base only). Additional compensation such as bonus, equity, and benefits are separate.
