Role
Senior IT Product Manager responsible for introducing and owning a portfolio of partner-facing products (partners, distributors, marketplaces) that support Palo Alto Networks’ indirect sales motion. The role partners closely with IT software engineers, product managers, engineering, legal, finance, revenue, sales/partner operations, and global customer support to ensure robust features and seamless partner and internal stakeholder experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define vision and strategy for partner-facing products that support indirect sales motions.
- Partner with Channels GTM, Sales GTM, Product Management and engineering teams to align products with strategy.
- Drive products from ideation to launch, including roadmap development and lifecycle management.
- Define business processes, write user stories, and translate requirements into deliverable solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and estimate delivery timelines with engineering.
- Analyze product performance, manage expectations, and plan for new offerings.
- Mentor and grow junior product managers.
Requirements
Required
- 10-12+ years of product management experience in a high-tech company; senior-level experience expected.
- Extensive experience working with partners and distributors; experience supporting channel/partner functions is critical.
- Experience driving innovative partner solutions using AI and rapid prototyping.
- Experience creating mockups using Lovable or similar tools and using AI-native orchestration tools such as Lovable, Cursor, and v0.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Communities (or equivalent).
- Experience developing APIs for partners or customers.
- Strong ownership mindset, product design drive, and ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred
- Experience integrating solutions with different cloud service providers.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- Software development background is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong collaboration mindset.
- Local to the San Francisco Bay Area preferred.
Location & Work Model
- Role location: Santa Clara / San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States.
- Palo Alto Networks indicates most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed; local candidates preferred.
- This position is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.
Compensation
- Posted base salary range: $141,000 - $229,000 per year. Final offer depends on qualifications, experience, and work location. Offer may include restricted stock units and a bonus.
