Sr. Product Builder

Role

The Sr. Product Builder at Ring will lead end-to-end development of new device experiences, combining technical product management with hands-on full‑stack development. The role emphasizes AI-first workflows, rapid prototyping, automated data analysis for validation, and collaboration across engineering and business teams to deliver production features.

Key Responsibilities

• Build rapid functional prototypes and launch features using AI-coding tools (e.g., Cursor) and Git workflows.
• Validate concepts through automated analysis of internal data, marketplace and competitive research.
• Drive engineering efforts across app, cloud, and device firmware, leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.
• Define product requirements and lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
• Prioritize trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational supportability.
• Identify and resolve strategic and tactical blockers to meet team goals.
• Lead improvements in connectivity, device power, and notification experiences.
• Automate repetitive cross-functional workflows with agentic workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product management, including building AI-powered applications.
• Demonstrated experience using LLMs and AI coding tools (vibe-coding) for strategy, requirements, data analysis, UX design, and iterative development.
• Experience building applications that incorporate GenAI components (LLM calls, RAG, agentic workflows, evals).
• Proven ability to champion the voice of the customer from idea through launch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading development of consumer device features spanning firmware, app, and cloud services.
• Portfolio of functional projects built with AI tools.
• Experience instrumenting products end-to-end with product analytics and event taxonomies.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, Amazon QuickSight, and Tableau.
• Experience with device connectivity and power optimization.

Location and Compensation

• Location: Hawthorne, CA (USA)
• Listed base salary range: 151,200.00 - 204,600.00 USD annually
