Role
The Senior Program Manager leads complex, cross-functional programs within the marketing organization, responsible for strategic planning, execution, governance, and performance measurement. The role is based at WellSky’s World Headquarters in Overland Park, KS and partners closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to guide programs from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end leadership across programs, aligning initiatives with organizational strategy and priorities.
- Establish, monitor, and manage program schedules, budgets, scope, and resources; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with executive leadership, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting on program performance, timelines, risks, budgets, and outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional execution from planning through delivery and ensure adherence to program/project management best practices.
- Implement, standardize, and continuously improve program management processes, workflows, and tools.
- Leverage lessons learned and industry best practices to improve program delivery and organizational effectiveness.
- Identify, secure, and manage external vendors or partners as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to program and project managers.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8–12 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Smartsheet.
Preferred
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to streamline workflows and improve processes.
- Basic experience with “vibe coding” using generative AI (e.g., M365 Copilot) to translate business problems into prompts and quick prototypes.
- Smartsheet certification.
- PMP or similar project/program management certification.
- People management experience.
Job Expectations

- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
