Sr. Software Engineer ( Vibe Coder )

Role

We are hiring a Senior Vibe Coder to build AI-driven web products and maintain end-to-end WordPress websites and landing pages. The role splits time roughly 50/50 between AI-assisted development (Node.js/Python) and WordPress implementation, customization, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

AI / Vibe Coding (50%)

• Use AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Replit, etc.) to design, build, and iterate on external web apps, tools, and micro-products.
• Build APIs, backends, and automations primarily in Node.js and Python, leveraging AI for boilerplate while ensuring overall structure and quality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and deploy features into production environments.
• Take features from idea to live release: clarify requirements, guide AI, test thoroughly, and refine based on usage and feedback.
• Establish best practices for safe, maintainable AI-assisted development.

WordPress Development (50%)

• Design, build, and maintain WordPress websites and landing pages using themes, page builders, and custom layouts.
• Customize and configure themes and plugins to meet design and functional requirements.
• Implement new sections, pages, and templates from briefs, references, or provided designs.
• Ensure WordPress sites are responsive, performant, and stable across major devices and browsers.
• Perform routine WordPress tasks such as updates, basic security, backups, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience building web products or tools in production (backend or full stack).
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python with real-world experience building and maintaining APIs/services.
• Regular, hands-on use of AI coding tools as part of the development workflow.
• Solid, practical WordPress experience including building full sites and landing pages, working with themes and plugins, and resolving common issues.

Location & Shift

• Location: Ahmedabad, India (onsite).
• Workplace: Onsite. Shift time: 5 PM – 2 AM IST.
