Role
Staff Product Designer on Google’s Core team focused on Trust UX, responsible for shaping interaction and product design for AI, personalization, and age-assurance initiatives. You will create intuitive, accessible designs and prototypes that scale across Google products and anticipate user needs from first-time users to experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead forward-looking projects focused on high-value opportunities in AI, personalization, and age-assurance.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers across the design process, from user flows and wireframes to UI mockups and prototypes.
- Partner with user researchers and data science teams to plan and execute scaled studies and experiments.
- Build frontier personalization experiences alongside cross-functional teams.
- Influence executive leaders and stakeholders with clear, opinionated goals and polished pitches.
- Drive adoption of canonical, user-centered solutions by aligning multiple partners and contributing to design foundations and developer-facing components.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Include a portfolio, website, or other relevant link to your work in your resume (provide a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications
- Proficient in Figma (auto-layout, variables, component libraries) and prototyping in Figma (animated prototypes, videos, GIFs).
- Experience with advanced prototyping tools such as Origami, Protopie, Rive, and online IDEs.
- Experience shipping or defining 0→1 products or features.
- Ability to embrace vibe coding for rapid prototyping and to create interface mockups and prototypes.

Compensation
- US base salary range: $178,000 - $265,000 (base only) plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
