About the Role

In Tandem is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead AI-native modernization across its family-focused product portfolio, initially focused on OurFamilyWizard. The role owns roadmap and execution for transformative AI capabilities, driving end-to-end delivery from discovery through launch while ensuring reliability, safety, and adoption in trust-sensitive workflows.

Job Description

Role

In Tandem seeks a Staff Product Manager to lead modernization and AI-native product strategy across its family of brands (initial focus on OurFamilyWizard, with platform plays across Cozi and FamilyWall). You will define and drive AI capabilities—foundational models, intelligent workflows, and new product surfaces—owning roadmap, discovery, and delivery to produce reliable, high-value experiences in trust-critical contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery with practitioners and legal professionals (attorneys, mediators, judges, court administrators) to define unmet needs and validate pro-facing features.
  • Design AI-native capabilities that operate within a court-recognized system of record and reshape workflows rather than only adding assisted features.
  • Shape how LLMs and AI components interact with structured, sensitive data and establish evaluation frameworks for reliability, safety, and quality.
  • Define cross-product/platform AI capabilities that extend across OurFamilyWizard, Cozi, and FamilyWall and influence shared AI infrastructure and long-term architecture.
  • Own product roadmap, execution, and go-to-market for AI-enabled features; operate from 0→1 (new products) and 1→N (scaling platform capabilities).
  • Partner closely with engineering and data science teams to translate technical detail into strategic product decisions and deliver measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years focused on AI product development, ML-powered features, or AI-native product creation.
  • Proven track record shipping consumer technology products end-to-end, ideally in marketplaces, communication platforms, or trust-critical ecosystems.
  • Experience with prototyping and MVP development via vibe coding and familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Lovable.
  • Expertise in data-driven product design, experimentation, model evaluation, and building feedback loops for quality improvement.
  • Strong customer empathy, user research and discovery skills, and experience working with regulated or trust-sensitive workflows.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional alignment skills; experience mentoring and raising product rigor.

Benefits

  • Medical: company pays 100% of employee premium and 99% for additional family members
  • 401(k): up to 4% match with immediate vesting
  • Paid leave for all new parents
  • Learning & Development stipend
  • Paid Time Off: 11 holidays, Winter Break (3 days), Volunteer Time Off (1 day), Floating Holiday (1 day)
  • Personal Time Off: 15 days (0–1 years), 20 days (1–3 years)
  • Supportive and flexible working environment — work from anywhere

Notes

This role emphasizes building AI-native, trustworthy experiences in a sensitive domain and requires both strong product instincts and technical fluency in AI/ML and model evaluation.
