Role
The Strategic Projects Manager reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and focuses on driving product relevance and accelerating sales growth across customer touchpoints through data ownership, analytics, and strategic partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product and sales datasets end-to-end: validate data, reconcile disparate sources, and ensure consistency across systems.
- Partner with the Data Insights team to design scalable, trusted data models in Snowflake, Postgres, and SQL Server.
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards to track business health and monitor product performance, customer behavior, and sales growth across KPIs (brand, category, region).
- Lead retrospective analyses of strategic initiatives and pilots; surface learnings and deliver actionable, data-backed recommendations.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders via ongoing reporting, written and verbal updates, and formal presentations.
- Act as a trusted business partner to identify opportunities and risks ahead of time.
- Leverage AI tools, automation, and experiment with emerging technologies (e.g., vibe coding environments, AI copilots) to prototype models and streamline manual processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, or consulting (consumer goods or design-related industry a plus).
- Advanced SQL fluency for joining relational tables, building analytical datasets, and manipulating fact/dimension models.
- Strong experience with Power BI and familiarity with AI-enabled tools.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and preparing data for business use.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; able to translate data into compelling stories for non-technical partners.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines and balance priorities.
- Passion for design, product, and customer relevance is a plus.
