Strategy and Business Modeling Consultant

Role

You will design and build custom business simulations that form the core of client learning experiences, using an AI-first development process and platforms. The role involves conceptualising simulation challenges, interviewing client executives to identify key metrics and levers, running pilot sessions, and presenting results to client audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design simulation challenges that surface core strategic dynamics and trade-offs.
• Interview executives and lead information-gathering workshops to identify metrics, levers, and strategic priorities.
• Process simulation results and present findings to client groups of 15–50 decision makers during virtual and face-to-face workshops.
• Own simulation concepts end-to-end: develop, pilot, test, and refine to ensure they produce intended mindsets and actionable learning outcomes.
• Support multiple projects concurrently across industries and collaborate with international offices; travel internationally for projects when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, science, math, economics, or related field.
• Strong business and financial acumen with intellectual horsepower and structured problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presence; ability to run interviews and workshops and present to senior audiences.
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate concepts into executable solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with AI tools and vibe-coding.
• Ability to visualise data to tell a compelling story.
• Experience with programming languages, game design, gamification, or digital content creation is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel internationally for projects.

Location & Working Pattern

Preferred location: Sydney (or Melbourne). The role is office-based on scheduled “glue days” (Mondays and Wednesdays) with flexible working arrangements allowing up to ~2 days per week working from home on average.
