This part-time onsite internship in Deggendorf, Germany provides hands-on experience working with engineers to optimize packaging and cleanroom operations.

Role
Student Worker (Manufacturing Engineering) supporting Packaging Operations. The role focuses on identifying process inefficiencies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating and deploying systems and digital tools, and assisting with facility, equipment, and layout improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement projects by identifying optimization opportunities and helping implement practical solutions.
- Assist in analyzing operational processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Help evaluate and deploy new systems, technologies, and digital tools to enhance manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Support planning and execution of facility, equipment, and layout improvement projects, including cleanroom and packaging area redesigns.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- Fluency in German and at least upper-intermediate (B2) level in English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Proactivity and a hands-on mentality.
Nice-to-have
- 3D-printing experience.
- Interest in coding / vibe-coding and/or experimenting in AI-based process development.

Salary & Benefits
