Role
The Supervisor, SEO & AI Optimization will lead organic growth initiatives for key clients, blending technical SEO, content strategy, and AI-assisted search techniques to improve visibility and business outcomes. This is a hands-on role that involves execution in CMS platforms, troubleshooting crawl and indexation issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams on site redesigns and migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day SEO activities: audits, keyword research, content optimization, local SEO, ASO, and structured data implementation.
- Execute hands-on work in CMS platforms including publishing, optimizing content, and improving site structure.
- Troubleshoot crawl, indexation, and performance issues and coordinate fixes with engineering/product teams.
- Apply AI-assisted methods for keyword clustering, content gap analysis, and smart linking to boost visibility across traditional and generative search.
- Apply GEO principles to strengthen brand presence in Google SGE and generative agents like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
- Build data-driven roadmaps, translate insights into clear recommendations, and communicate ROI via reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with media teams to align SEO with broader campaign goals and support new-business pitches with strategic input.
- Mentor junior SEOs, share learnings, and help evolve scalable AI + SEO playbooks and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years leading SEO and content marketing strategies.
- Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing or agency role.
- Strong technical SEO and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console (GSC), Looker, and Google Sheets/Slides.
- Experience with Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, OnCrawl, and SEMrush.
- Reliable, strategic, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal micromanagement.
Bonus / Nice to Have
- Sense for anticipating Google updates.
- Knowledge of API integrations, Vibe coding, and basic web development (HTML, schema, automation scripting).
- Familiarity with paid search and Google Analytics Certification.
- BS/BA degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual gross base salary range: $80,000–$92,000 USD.
