Job Description
Role
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement features and architecture following Android best practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services.
- Optimize application performance, security, and user experience.
- Implement unit and UI tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot/resolution of bugs and crashes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, testing, and debugging.
- Rapidly prototype features using vibe-coding methodologies and productionize them with engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–9 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack components.
- Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Experience with Room Database, WorkManager, Navigation Component.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf or similar.
- Ability to evaluate, refine, and productionize AI-generated code while ensuring maintainability and security.
Preferred Skills
- Jetpack Compose
- Firebase services
- Modular / multi-module Android project experience
- Automated testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Espresso
- Understanding of AI-assisted development best practices and prompt engineering techniques

- Office-based role; in-person work expected at least 3 days per week (hybrid tag #LI-Hybrid).
