Technical Delivery Team Lead based in Gurugram responsible for overseeing the onsite software development team, bridging technical execution and senior management, and ensuring project delivery, budget alignment, and high developer utilisation.
Key Responsibilities
Core Leadership & Delivery
- Lead, mentor, and manage the onsite development team.
- Act as primary liaison between developers, the remote IT Director (UK), and senior management.
- Ensure on-time project delivery, scope adherence, and alignment with budget.
- Track and maximise developer utilisation and maintain morale to reduce attrition risk.
- Use Jira (or similar) for sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery tracking.
- Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines and coordinate with DevOps for deployments.
- Resolve team conflicts, maintain collaborative culture, and keep documentation up to date.
AI Adoption & Integration
- Drive AI readiness and pilot AI agents across departments (sales, recruitment, compliance, finance, operations).
- Promote vibe coding practices to improve development speed and quality.
- Identify and integrate AI-powered features into the SaaS CRM product and evaluate emerging AI technologies for business value.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 9+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or project management role.
- Proven track record in SaaS product development; CRM or recruitment CRM experience preferred.
- Strong grasp of web technologies (Django, React, PostgreSQL/MySQL, AWS); hands-on coding not required but must guide and review.
- Experience managing end-to-end delivery in Agile environments; proficiency with Jira.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines and Git workflows.
- Experience handling cyber and data security across platforms and organization.
- Excellent people management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Exposure to AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Azure AI, AWS AI/ML) and AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot).
Preferred
- Hands-on experience embedding AI into SaaS products and prompt engineering expertise.
- Familiarity with education recruitment technology and experience working with UK/European teams.
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure).
