Create and improve STEM and robotics curriculum for students aged 6–17, combining pedagogy with technical content and interactive materials. The role develops gamified educational content using the Wiz Curriculum Toolkit and basic web technologies, while coordinating with instructors and stakeholders to iterate on learning experiences.
Job Description
Role
Technical Curriculum Developer focused on gamification and STEM education for students aged 6–17. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining curriculum and technological learning materials that engage students and meet parental expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain curriculum content for robotics, coding, and general STEM courses (ages 6–17).
- Gamify educational content and design interactive learning experiences (video, interactive HTML/JS).
- Use the Wiz Curriculum Toolkit to build curriculum artifacts, applying vibe coding and basic web technologies.
- Write clean code and follow software engineering best practices (comments, TDD).
- Communicate progress and collaborate with Wiz team members and instructors to support curriculum changes.
- Gather feedback from classrooms and parents to iterate on curriculum and improve student engagement and classroom organization.
Technical Development
- Develop using the Wiz Curriculum Toolkit with vibe coding.
- Implement interactive content using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Follow code quality practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and clear commenting.
Requirements
- Currently a university student studying a technical field (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, game development).
- Positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire young students, and to develop educational processes and teaching methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively in a team.
