About the Role

Partner with engineering and design, read and contribute to code, and champion AI-driven features with clear evaluation and governance.
Job Description
Role
Lead the product vision and execution for a live B2B technology platform. Own the product roadmap, prioritize high-impact initiatives tied to user value and business outcomes, define product requirements and specifications, and oversee implementation through to release. Use technical fluency to read and contribute to the codebase and to make informed tradeoffs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and maintain a prioritized backlog where every ticket ties to user value or business outcome. Make ruthless scope decisions to deliver high-quality work.
- Drive engineering to ship correctly: write clear PRDs (wireframes, test cases, explicit success criteria), work with prototypes (including working prototypes using vibe coding), get into the repo to read code and contribute minor fixes, participate in standups, and enforce quality gates.
- Establish product discipline: run customer/stakeholder sessions regularly, document friction points, run bi-weekly stress-test sessions, and ensure observability and tooling are properly instrumented and owned by engineers.
- Lead AI features: define feature specs for AI capabilities (knowledgebase, evidence validation, AI reviews, observability/evaluation layer), set guardrails and evaluation criteria, and work with external experts on AI strategy.
- Monitor market trends, competitive moves, and emerging technologies to keep the product innovative and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of product experience, with at least 3 years on a B2B SaaS product sold to US customers.
- Experience shipping AI or AI-adjacent features in production (real users, real data).
- Demonstrated experience building products from early PMF stages to a growing platform.
- Technical fluency: able to read code, reason about architecture, and contribute minor features/fixes without hand-holding.
- Strong ownership and organizational skills: manage many open tickets and competing priorities, handle urgent customer escalations, and maintain disciplined backlog and Jira hygiene.
Key Attributes / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with B2B tech platforms, compliance, security, or GRC products is a plus.
- Track record leading product overhauls on live production platforms with real users.
- Ambition to grow toward a Director of Product role within ~2 years.
- Familiarity with observability and product instrumentation tools.
Instrumentation & Observability
- Ensure product tools such as Sentry, LogRocket, and PostHog are instrumented and that engineers own their alerts.
Notes
- This role expects hands-on product management with technical involvement, rigorous quality practices, and direct ownership of AI feature strategy and governance.
