Role

Technical Product & Program Manager on PayPal’s Developer Relations (DevRel) team responsible for driving adoption of PayPal developer products and leading strategic, company-wide developer initiatives (examples cited: Agentic Commerce, Start Ups, Vibe Coding, Developer Experience). The role combines technical product management with program leadership to define strategy, execute roadmaps, and deliver developer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute inputs to product strategy and align cross-functional stakeholders with a shared product vision.
  • Implement and manage architectural roadmaps balancing innovation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and profitability.
  • Define product requirements centered on customer experience and incorporate developer feedback into decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze product success metrics using usability studies, research, market analysis, and analytics.
  • Manage multiple workstreams including analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor product profitability and manage budget-related measures.
  • Participate in operational mechanisms such as Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews to drive execution and accountability.
  • Partner with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in product and program management with technical depth, business judgment, and the ability to turn strategy into executable plans.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder collaboration, data-driven decision making, and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
