Role
As a Staff/Senior Consultant on the Transaction Strategy and Transformation team in Toronto, you will support clients modernizing legacy applications by embedding AI solutions to assess cyber risks and identify vulnerabilities. You will work in client-facing engagements to translate technical analysis into strategic outcomes and measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Support projects that integrate AI into application modernization initiatives
- Use AI tools to review legacy applications, identify cyber-attack risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate technical solutions into strategic outcomes
- Deliver value realization and strategy work to ensure measurable benefits from modernization efforts
- Participate in client-facing engagements, workshops, and presentations
- Manage small project teams (typically 2–3 resources) for delivery
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in a technology consulting practice, delivering strategy and custom application development projects (includes co-op and internship experience)
- Strong technical background in computer science and business
- Experience with AI-driven application development and modernization
- Ability to analyze legacy systems for security vulnerabilities using AI
- Client-facing experience and strong presentation skills
- Experience managing small teams and delivering projects
- Eligible for federal government security clearance
- Technology familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio Code, and MCP Server setup/use
- Experience with JavaScript and Java; experience using Frontier LLMs (Sonnet, Opus, ChatGPT) for “vibe coding”
Preferred
- Joint degree in computer science and business
- Multiple internships or hands-on experience in application development
- Demonstrated track record of client-facing engagements and presentations
Compensation
- Toronto: 64,000 to 96,000 (salary range provided in posting)
