Role
Tufin Security Engineer / Specialist responsible for administering and optimizing network security policies using the Tufin Security Suite (SecureTrack, SecureChange, SecureApp). The role focuses on lifecycle management of firewall policies, automation of change workflows, integrations with enterprise firewalls, risk assessments, compliance reporting, and support for audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Tufin SecureTrack, SecureChange, and SecureApp
- Own end-to-end firewall policy lifecycle: request, risk analysis, approval, implementation, and cleanup
- Integrate and support Tufin with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)
- Perform risk assessments, compliance checks, and generate audit reports
- Automate policy workflows and change management via Tufin and ITSM tools
- Troubleshoot policy violations, connectivity, and topology issues
- Ensure continuous policy optimization, rule recertification, and risk reduction
- Support internal and external security audits and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for secure access enablement
Requirements
- 7+ years in network/security operations with strong Tufin expertise
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and network architectures
- Strong understanding of network security, routing, and access control
- Linux server administration experience
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- Scripting/automation exposure (Python, API integrations) — desirable
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD concepts
Additional Technical Expectations (listed in posting)
- Use of AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and integration of AI-driven features where applicable
- Experience developing modern web applications: JavaScript / TypeScript and frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular, Vue)
- 3+ years Python development experience for APIs/backend services
- Experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, AWS, Azure cloud services, and DevOps pipelines
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure environments
- Ability to develop wireframes/prototypes using Figma
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Salesforce Mobile SDK or Service Cloud integration
- Experience with MuleSoft or enterprise integration platforms
- Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
