About the Role
Tribute Technology is hiring a UI/UX Designer to create data-informed, experiment-driven designs for consumer-facing eCommerce products. Job Description
Role
Tribute Technology seeks a strategic, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design and optimize consumer-facing eCommerce experiences. The role centers on creating polished, test-ready designs and prototypes, driving incremental improvements through experimentation, and partnering with cross-functional teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-impact, data-informed A/B test variants and deliver polished, test-ready designs and prototypes in Figma with clear developer handoff details.
- Develop multiple concepts with clear rationale, trade-offs, and expected outcomes; prefer incremental, experiment-driven improvements over sweeping redesigns.
- Use analytics and qualitative insights (e.g., FullStory and other analytics platforms) to identify UX friction, behavioral patterns, and optimization opportunities.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into hypotheses and test strategies that balance business impact and UX principles.
- Contribute to and incrementally align UI patterns with the design system based on winning experiments and engagement patterns.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools and “vibe-coding” practices to accelerate ideation, variant generation, and rapid iteration; evaluate emerging AI/design tools.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, CRO, and QA to navigate trade-offs, communicate design rationale, and ensure implementation quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio (portfolio strongly recommended).
- Experience with eCommerce and/or data-driven design and with turning insights into testable hypotheses.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation-driven workflows.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to articulate design rationale in the context of experimentation and business impact.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with front-end collaborators; ability to earn the respect of engineering partners.
