UX Designer, Apps and Marketplace

Role

Design and own end-to-end product experiences for Zoom Apps and Marketplace, shaping how users discover, install, and interact with apps on the Zoom platform. Drive design strategy and execution with an emphasis on production-ready visuals, scalable solutions, and high-quality interaction design.

Team

Work with the Zoom Apps and Marketplace team alongside product, engineering, research, and accessibility partners to deliver customizable apps and scalable integrations. Collaborate with designers across the US and China.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, mission-critical projects that define the future of the Zoom Marketplace and Developer Platform.
• Own design strategy and execution end-to-end, delivering pixel-perfect visuals, robust prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (PM, engineering, research, accessibility) to align on product direction and champion design excellence.
• Set and uphold high standards for visual and interaction design, including layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions and measure success.

Requirements

• BS or equivalent experience with 4+ years of product design experience and a portfolio demonstrating user-centered interaction design.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects across time zones.
• Systems thinking and experience contributing to design systems libraries.
• Strong communication skills for articulating design decisions and influencing partners.
• Exposure to AI-powered design tools and practices (prompting, vibe coding, Cursor, FigmaMake).
• Deep visual design skills and attention to polish and detail.
