Job Description
Role
We are hiring a strategic, hands-on UX Designer to shape AI-powered user experiences in healthcare. The role focuses on designing information-dense, high-impact workflows that augment human decision-making for clinicians, payers, and operators, and on creating reusable component libraries and scalable design systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own UX end-to-end across product areas, from research and wireframes to validated prototypes and delivery.
- Design AI-first workflows that augment human decision-making in complex clinical and operational use cases.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate ambiguity into clear, actionable designs.
- Craft elegant, usable, and scalable design systems and reusable component libraries for information-dense interfaces.
- Engage with business users (clinicians, reviewers, operators) to gather insights and iterate rapidly.
- Build interaction patterns that make AI outputs feel actionable, trustworthy, and intuitive.
- Support delivery teams to translate UX into production UI applications.
- Collaborate with leadership from ideation through mockups and implementation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, with at least 1–2 years in healthcare or healthtech.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ML- or AI-based workflow tools, platforms, or vertical solutions.
- Experience owning user journeys from discovery through deployment (not just UI design).
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools, and strong practice with user feedback loops.
- Comfortable working with modern vibe coding tools (explicitly mentions Replit and Lovable).
- Action-oriented mindset, full-stack ownership, and ability to maintain clarity in ambiguous, high-velocity environments.
Bonus
- Experience with payer workflows, care management, or utilization review tooling.
- Background in user research or service design.
