We are hiring a UX Designer to join the Product/Science & Technology team to design and evolve Hume, a connected data/graph analytics platform used in mission-critical environments. You will translate complex user needs into intuitive, accessible, and visually clear product experiences for B2B users.

- Works closely with: Product Managers, Engineers (Hume Engineering Team), Support, Customer Success, and UX Specialists

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user and stakeholder discovery through client conversations, internal stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to gather insights and validate assumptions.
- Define and document user journeys, use cases, task flows, and interaction models for complex B2B web applications.
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes (in Figma) to communicate solutions and support discussions with clients, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Validate and iterate on designs using stakeholder reviews, prototype walkthroughs, client feedback sessions, and lightweight usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify requirements, shape solutions, and prepare design specifications and handoff materials for frontend development.
- Contribute to and apply the team’s design system and component library; help document and improve design patterns.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional UX or Product Design experience, ideally within an in-house product team.
- Experience designing complex B2B web applications, data-heavy products, or enterprise software.
- Strong portfolio with case studies that demonstrate problem-solving, process, collaboration, and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, documentation, and collaboration.
- Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted prototyping and “vibe coding” tools (the company currently uses Claude).
- Solid understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG standards and the ability to apply them to product design.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
