UX Designer/Engineer with Strong Mobile App Experience

Role

We are hiring a Designer–Engineer who works at the intersection of UX design, front-end development, and AI-driven workflows. The role balances rapid prototyping and shipping production-quality components and features, with ownership of design systems and tooling that bridge Figma and production code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity UI in Figma.
• Translate designs into interactive prototypes and production code using React and React Native.
• Build, maintain, and evolve design systems across Figma and production implementations.
• Use AI/agentic tools (e.g., Figma MCP, Figma Code Connect, Claude Code) to accelerate iteration, prototyping, and automation.
• Rapidly test and validate ideas with functional prototypes and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to ship polished features.
• Share AI and workflow best practices across the design and engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined experience across product design and front-end engineering, including React and React Native.
• Demonstrated ability to take features from concept to production.
• Proficiency in Figma (components, variables, tokens, prototyping) and front-end frameworks (React/React Native).
• Hands-on experience with AI/agentic tools (Figma MCP, Figma Code Connect, Claude Code, etc.).
• Strong balance of design craft and engineering pragmatism; able to work independently and bridge disciplines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder).
• Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating UX design and mobile app development is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with consumer photo, social, or media products.
• Motion and interaction design skills.
• Prior experience introducing or scaling new workflows within a product or design organization.

Compensation

Salary range listed: $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
