UX/UI Designer / Product Designer (m/f/d)

Role

Placetel seeks a UX/UI Designer / Product Designer to join the Digital & Growth Team and define how users experience their AI-native SaaS communication products across websites, product interfaces, and self-service journeys. The role emphasizes creating clarity, usability, and visual quality while exploring AI-supported design workflows and rapid prototyping.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually strong user experiences across web, product interfaces, and digital self-service journeys.
• Turn complex requirements into clear UX and UI solutions, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes.
• Use modern design and prototyping tools and AI-supported workflows to explore ideas, test assumptions, and accelerate iteration.
• Continuously improve experiences with attention to usability, accessibility, performance, and visual quality.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and marketing to move concepts from idea to implementation.
• Help evolve and maintain the design system to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of UX/UI or product design experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and measurable impact.
• Excellent visual design skills, attention to detail, and interaction design sensibility.
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into well-crafted design solutions.
• Curiosity and practical experience with AI-based design tools and modern prototyping workflows.
• Experience or interest in rapid prototyping, vibe coding, and AI-assisted exploration.
• Confidence using modern design/prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Collaborative, feedback-oriented mindset and ownership over design outcomes.
• Fluent German and ability to communicate clearly in English.
