Vibe Coding Architect (all genders)
Explicitly centered on vibe coding — designing guardrails and infra for AI-assisted development using Claude Code and similar AI coding assistants.
About the Role
As Vibe Coding Architect you will enable non-technical teams to build reliable, secure AI-assisted applications by designing guardrails, shared infrastructure, and best practices for tools like Claude Code. You’ll review and refactor AI-generated code, build reusable components and deployment pipelines, and run training to scale safe, maintainable development across the company.
Job Description
Role
You will be the technical bridge between engineering standards and non-technical teams who build tools with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code). Embedded in the Frontend Team but operating company-wide, you design guardrails, shared infrastructure, and workflows that enable safe, maintainable AI-assisted development.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect AI-assisted development setups including conventions (CLAUDE.md), MCP configs, reusable skills/plugins, and prompt engineering practices.
- Review AI-generated code from non-technical teams, identify architectural and security issues, and refactor as needed.
- Build and maintain shared infrastructure: auth modules, DB schemas, API wrappers, deployment templates, and reusable components.
- Design Git workflows, branching strategies, PR reviews, CI gates, and developer experience improvements.
- Setup deployment pipelines (Firebase/GCP) with access control, monitoring, secrets management, and reliable integration patterns (scheduled syncs, webhooks, automated reporting) including error handling.
- Define data architecture choices (Firestore vs relational DB vs spreadsheets), access control, and safe shared data usage.
- Run hands-on workshops and produce documentation to teach non-technical colleagues how to use Claude Code, Git, and shared infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering foundation with full-stack experience across frontend (React/TypeScript), backend (Node.js/Python), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/Firebase preferred).
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar, including knowledge of their failure modes.
- Deep understanding of Git workflows, DevOps, CI/CD, deployment, authentication, monitoring, and secrets management.
- Solid grasp of web fundamentals: HTTP, browser APIs, authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys), and REST API design.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; ability to explain architectural decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset and comfort making architectural decisions independently and owning an internal developer platform.
Benefits
- Office workstation provided (screens, chair) and choice of OS (Mac/Windows/Linux).
- Office located in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel; pet-friendly workplace; quarterly company gatherings (Speed.Fest).
- Flexible work arrangements (full-time or part-time options).
- Personal training budget and future-proof pension scheme support.
- Flat hierarchies, regular team events, and an experienced, friendly team.
Location & Workstyle
Role is based at the company HQ in Hamburg (Schanzenviertel) with an emphasis on in-office presence and regular company events at HQ.
