Role
We Code 2 Camp Instructor responsible for teaching Vibe Coding, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics across Elementary, Jr. High, and High School age groups through structured one-hour sessions. The instructor will combine creativity and technical skill-building to help students understand how technology and intelligent systems are built and applied.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach daily coding, AI, and robotics sessions across multiple age groups.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans for Elementary, Jr. High, and High School students.
- Lead hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and creativity.
- Introduce AI concepts including prompt design, machine learning basics, automation, and responsible AI use.
- Guide robotics activities including assembly, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and team challenges.
- Support student project presentations and demonstrations.
- Maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with camp leadership on curriculum execution.
Requirements / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching coding, robotics, STEM, or technology to youth.
- Familiarity with AI tools, robotics platforms, and beginner programming environments.
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners.
- Passion for preparing underserved youth for future technology opportunities.
Compensation & Location
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
- Work Location: In person.
