Job Description
Role
The Vibe Coding & Automation Specialist will explore, prototype, and implement high-leverage solutions using Vibe Coding and modern automation tools to reduce friction and scale Easy Pay Direct’s internal operations and client-facing features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement tools, automations, and features using Vibe Coding
- Experiment with new platforms, tools, and workflows and apply successful patterns
- Reduce manual work and complexity across internal operations
- Build internal tools that teams use reliably; create client-facing enhancements when validated
- Move quickly from idea to prototype to iteration to deployment
- Document solutions so others can understand and extend them
- Balance speed with reliability and sound judgment
- Collaborate across operations, product, and leadership on special projects
Success Criteria (30/60/90 days)
- 30 days: Understand systems and ship at least one useful internal automation; identify high-impact opportunities
- 60 days: Independently design and deploy multiple Vibe-coded solutions and measurably improve a workflow
- 90 days: Maintain a pipeline of experiments and implementations; deliver tools used weekly by staff/clients
Requirements
Must-haves
- Hands-on experience with Vibe Coding and modern automation tools
- Evidence of shipping real, working systems
- Strong problem-solving instincts and bias toward action
- Comfort operating without detailed specs
- Clear, direct written communication
- High ownership and accountability
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building internal tools or workflow automations
- Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic workflows
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or regulated environments
- Product thinking and startup or fast-moving environment experience
Working Model
Hybrid role based in Austin (in-office 3 days/week). Compensation listed as a range with additional incentives and benefits.
