Role
The Vibe Coding Engineer quickly prototypes and builds functional applications using AI-assisted coding tools and rapid development platforms, then transitions successful prototypes into AREA15’s approved repositories and production environments. This is a hands-on, production-facing role embedded across business units and focused on maintaining code quality, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and rapid development platforms to prototype, iterate, and test multiple ideas in parallel.
- Transition successful prototypes into approved repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and secure production environments.
- Align builds with technical standards, architecture guidelines, and security requirements.
- Ensure applications are stable, documented, maintainable, and scalable.
- Monitor deployed tools and continuously improve performance and reliability.
- Partner with business owners and cross-functional teams (marketing, events, attractions, operations) to translate loosely defined ideas into reliable software.
- Identify reusable components and repeatable development patterns; contribute to defining best practices for AI-assisted development.
- Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and rapid-build platforms (examples listed below).
- Ability to produce production-grade code that meets structure, scalability, security, and maintainability standards.
- Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines for production environments.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills; able to translate ambiguous requirements into functional solutions.
- Commitment to documenting work, monitoring deployed systems, and addressing reliability and performance issues.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and respond to time-sensitive operational needs.
