DavidsonX is hiring an expert Vibe Coding course instructor to design and deliver a 4-week online edX course on AI-driven no-code app and website development. The role requires developing the syllabus and scripts, collaborating with the course team, and participating in a single on-site filming day.
Job Description
Role
DavidsonX seeks an instructor to develop and create a 4-week online course titled “Vibe Coding: Building Apps & Websites with No Code.” The instructor will be responsible for designing the syllabus, writing course scripts, collaborating with the DavidsonX team, and participating in a single filming day at Davidson College.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive course syllabus, learning objectives, and script
- Collaborate weekly with the DavidsonX course development team via Zoom
- Adhere to project timelines and development schedule
- Participate in a live course filming day at Davidson College
Requirements
- Expert-level Vibe Coding proficiency with tools such as Lovable, Replit, or similar
- Exceptional passion for teaching and demonstrated instructional capability
- Strong on-camera presence and teleprompter reading skills
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Google Suite, Slack, Zoom)
- Availability for 50 remote work hours (flexed from September–November)
- Ability to travel to Davidson, NC for a single filming day (travel costs fully reimbursed)
Time Commitment & Schedule
- Time commitment: approximately 50 hours
- Project start date: Late 2025
- Course filming dates: Early to mid 2026
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation offered as a contractor fee, commensurate with experience and mutually agreed before project start; payment issued upon completion of deliverables
- Travel costs for on-site filming will be fully reimbursed
- Flexible remote work arrangement for the course development hours
