Role
Vice President, Product Management responsible for shaping multi-year strategy and leading two business lines (non-profit & government governance solutions) for Diligent’s core platform. The role combines executive-level strategic ownership with hands-on product building and accountability for ARR growth, retention, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy to drive company-level ARR growth, retention, and market expansion in partnership with C-suite and cross-functional teams.
- Build and scale a high-performing product organization with clear standards, processes, OKRs, and data-driven accountability.
- Champion AI-first innovation and lead GovernAI adoption to enable platform upgrades and competitive differentiation.
- Scale product-led growth strategies (trials, freemium, self-service) to accelerate adoption and revenue.
- Maintain deep customer empathy through engagement with Fortune 500 boards and leverage customer insights and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
- Identify new market opportunities within the governance and compliance ecosystem and drive strategic GTM partnerships.
Requirements (Essential)
- 12+ years in product management with 5+ years in senior leadership (Director+ level).
- Track record building and scaling successful products in consumer, AI, marketplace, or SaaS contexts at either a fast-growing startup or a tier-1 tech company (FAANG or equivalent).
- Experience leading product organizations of 15+ people with demonstrated talent development and performance standards.
- Proven track record of success across multiple products or companies.
- Hands-on builder mindset; team emphasizes practical product building and “vibe coding.”
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Personal leadership of significant AI/LLM-based product initiatives that drove substantial customer adoption or expansion.
- Experience shipping customer-facing prototypes or products, including hobby/side projects demonstrating hands-on engineering/prototyping skills.
- Background as a founder or similar leadership experience.

Location & Work Model
- Headquartered in New York with global offices; role follows a hybrid work model. Candidates within commuting distance to an office are expected to be onsite at least 50% of the time.
