Role
We are seeking a Visual Designer to help critique, experiment with, and shape how AI understands and simulates multi‑modal design workflows across mediums (web, apps, brand/marketing assets, and advanced new media). This is a part‑time engagement (10–20 hours/week initially) starting in late December, fully remote and asynchronous, with potential for increased hours based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft, critique, and review experimental design workflows using frontier AI models.
- Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of designers across disciplines.
- Experiment with multimodal design approaches and document creative processes.
- Contribute to portfolio pieces and written assessments during the interview process.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience in graphic or UI design.
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
- Strong background creating high‑quality digital or immersive visual designs (websites/apps, brand/marketing assets, and new media) with distinct aesthetics.
- Exposure to LLMs, generative AI prompting, and vibe coding.
- Proficiency with creative coding tools (explicitly mentions HTML/CSS, Processing, and three.js).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
