Role
Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that improve colleague experience and support co-branded credit card partnership programs. Drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and align technical decisions with business objectives.
Purpose
Shape the future of colleague experience by driving innovation and continuous improvement, including implementing Agentic AI and Vibe coding to simplify processes and improve digital experiences across colleague journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Oversee timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product managers, designers, operations and platform teams.
- Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
- Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices.
- Lead delivery across Workday and Service Now platforms for colleague improvements and coordinate with Digital Channels and Operations stakeholders.
- Prioritise and guide the delivery of change portfolios related to colleague journeys.

Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate qualification (preferably in human resources noted).
- Proven stakeholder management experience with global leads and delivery teams.
- Experience in transformation and process simplification projects, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Experience leading delivery across Workday and Service Now platforms and collaborating with Digital Channels and Operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage change portfolios across colleague journeys.
Highly Valued Skills
- Domain expertise in credit cards, co-branded credit card partnership programs, and financial services technology.
- Experience implementing Agentic AI solutions and Vibe coding for process improvement.
- Strong technical proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), AWS, and React.JS.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and data architecture.
- Hands-on leadership style, active code and architecture contribution, and strong mentoring abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
