Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead high-quality, internationally recognized research in programming languages and techniques
- Obtain third-party research funding and maintain a strong publication and presentation record
- Teach and develop essential Bachelor and Master courses in programming languages and techniques, in German and English
- Supervise and promote early-career researchers and doctoral candidates
- Engage in knowledge transfer, continuing education, and public relations
- Participate in academic self-administration and faculty duties
Requirements
- Outstanding research achievements with national and international visibility in programming languages and techniques
- Demonstrable experience in research funding acquisition, publications, and conference presentations
- Teaching experience and willingness to teach in German and English
- Evidence of qualification for academic appointment as defined by Section 59 SächsHSG (e.g., successful junior professorship, habilitation, or equivalent academic achievements)
- Willingness to relocate to the Chemnitz region and to take on administrative duties
