Role
Georgia Shop Supplies is hiring a Warehouse Operations & Systems Associate to combine traditional warehouse duties with hands-on inventory systems work. The role requires executing accurate picking, packing, receiving, and delivery loading while managing inventory data, interacting with custom automations and AI tools, and supporting process improvements within the inventory ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute accurate picking, receiving, packing for UPS shipments, and load delivery vehicles.
- Manage inventory movements and perform careful data entry in the inventory database.
- Manipulate and maintain spreadsheets (Excel) as needed for operational tasks.
- Understand and work with the flow of data across Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, picking, shipping, and accounting.
- Interact with and, as you learn, modify or update custom automations and scripts used by the operation.
- Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse layout, picking strategies, and inventory flow.
- Cross-train on delivery routes to act as a backup driver when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for backup driving duties).
- Comfortable with the physical demands of warehouse work, including safely lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn WMS/ERP/e-commerce platforms and internal inventory software.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automations, or basic scripting/programming is a major advantage (vibe-coding background preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking about downstream effects of inventory actions, and a proactive ownership mindset.
- Willingness to work day shift in person in Tyrone, GA; part-time to start with a path to full-time.
Compensation & Hours
- Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour.
- Expected hours: 20–40 hours per week.

Experience
