Role
Student (Werkstudent) position in Advanced Fullstack Engineering & Cloud Operations within the Drive Systems Software-Integration & -Control team at Mercedes‑Benz. The role supports operation and further development of an Azure cloud platform, deployment and management of web applications, APIs and backend services, and the integration of AI services to improve software coordination in the driveline.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance the Azure cloud platform
- Deploy web applications, APIs and backend services
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions
- Operate containers, runners and cloud infrastructure
- Integrate databases, interfaces and Azure AI services
- Monitor, perform error analysis and optimize production systems
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing or similar
- Very good knowledge of Python (must-have)
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions and CI/CD
- Knowledge of backend development, APIs, databases and cloud architectures
- Experience with Docker, containers and cloud deployments
- High initiative, hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for modern cloud technologies
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or AI agent systems
- Experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot and Vibe Coding
- Experience with React, TypeScript or modern frontend technologies
