Role
Working student (f/m/d) supporting the learning platform taxonomy team to build and maintain a metadata documentation platform for learning.sap.com. The position contributes to backoffice tooling and taxonomy management to simplify and manage large-scale learning assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an in-house tool to manage a metadata documentation platform.
- Use relation database-type tools to manage taxonomy tagging.
- Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Analyze and organize large datasets, primarily using Excel.
- Create documentation for the in-house tool under development.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student at a university or university of applied sciences in Germany.
- Study fields: Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analyst, Education, Data Engineering or related.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of data extraction and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German optional).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Team player with an agile mindset and willingness to learn new systems.
Nice to have
- Python or TypeScript skills.
- Vibe coding experience and interest in new AI tools.
- Hands-on experience with managing large datasets.
Team / Context
Part of the Product Management and Design Tooling Experience Team within the SAP learning area. The team focuses on building tools and experiences for authors and platform developers, using SAP in-house Multi-Experience Platform (MXP) and other internal systems to manage complex taxonomies for thousands of learning assets.
