Role
Working Student (m/f/x) in AI Application Development focusing on building internal, Azure-based AI tools and prototypes. The role emphasizes rapid iteration and delivery of production-ready web applications, backend services, and data integrations that enable AI/LLM features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build internal AI-powered applications and tools using modern frameworks and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Translate business requirements into prototypes, web applications, and database-backed systems with a focus on rapid iteration (“vibe coding”)
- Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support scalable internal applications
- Support AI use cases including LLM-powered features such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), workflow automation, and intelligent assistants
- Contribute to architecture and deployment on Azure (e.g., App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB)
- Assist in maintaining and improving existing internal tools for reliability, usability, and performance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and convert automation opportunities into solutions
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Strong hands-on programming skills (examples given: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) and ability to quickly build working applications
- Experience or strong interest in building full-stack applications (frontend, backend, and database integration)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms—ideally Microsoft Azure—and modern development practices (APIs, microservices, CI/CD)
- Interest in AI application development, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel)
- Business-fluent English; another European language is a plus
Nice to Have
- Exposure to low-code/no-code tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Prior experience with Azure services and deploying production applications
