An MCP server that exposes Askew's monetized x402 endpoints as callable tools for live DeFi yields, staking routing, semantic research search, security threat intelligence, and related status/offer lookup. It supports direct pay-per-call access on Base mainnet or a proxied xpay.tools endpoint.
From the registry: DeFi yields, staking routing, semantic research & security intel via x402 micro-payments on Base
Please install the `askew-x402` MCP server into my current AI client (that's you).
Optional prerequisites:
- Optional xpay key for proxied access — If using the proxied xpay.tools endpoint, obtain an xpay key and fund your xpay credit balance. This is not required for the direct self-sovereign x402 endpoint.
- x402-compatible payment setup for paid direct calls — For the direct endpoint, paid tools require x402 payments in USDC on Base mainnet from your own wallet. Free tools do not require payment. (https://x402.org)
Canonical MCP server config (HTTP transport):
- url: `https://mcp.askew.network/mcp`
Note: Preferred canonical connection is the direct remote MCP streamable-HTTP endpoint at https://mcp.askew.network/mcp. No API key is required for direct access. Alternative proxied endpoint: https://askew-x402.mcp.xpay.sh/mcp?key=<your-xpay-key>. If using the proxied endpoint, substitute that URL in the client config. The README also shows a Claude Desktop wrapper using `npx mcp-remote`, but the canonical transport exposed by the server itself is remote HTTP, not stdio.
Add this MCP server to my current client's config in the correct format for you. If you need secrets or credentials I haven't provided, ASK me — do not invent values or leave raw placeholders. After adding it, tell me how to verify the server is connected.SEC filing intelligence — insider sentiment, material events, financial ratios, disclosure search.
